Weekly Image of Life: Breathtaking

So, this week’s image of life’s theme is breathtaking and how timely this post is. This is supposed to be a stand alone post but I would love to have this as an entry. This is breathtaking!

HOW TO GET THERE: (via Isla De Gigantes Islands Carles Facebook page)

For people who lives in Panay Islands : You either go to Roxas or Iloilo then ride in a bus for 2 hours and 4 hours respectively going to Estancia then a boat will take you to Gigante Islands for 1 and a half hour. The boat will leave at exactly 2 pm in the afternoon.

For people outside Panay Islands : You could take an airplane or take a ship/RO-RO from your place going to Iloilo or Roxas. For people in Cebu you could also take a Barge from Hagnaya to Bantayan Islands and from there you can take a boat to Estancia. The same process. The schedule of the boat from Bantayan Islands to Estancia is every other day.

  5. Bro, congrats. You are the second blogger so far who featured Isla Gigantes and this time around I’m convince I need to see this enchanted place when I go home next time. I’d been to Carles before but it was in their local beach and not this Island. It’s about 4 hours from my city by land. Thanks for sharing you adventures week after week…best wishes!

bro, thanks… nice to know but not sure though if I’m the second blogger who featured Islas de Gigantes… Nope, I have not been there yet. I’ve seen it thru FB and I can’t help it but share here on the blogosphere – it’s breathtaking – perfect for this week’s challenge!

I hope to visit there as well, soon and be enchanted by this spectacular place! There must be a lot of beautiful beaches/islands in Panay Island… Boracay was once undiscovered, I suppose but now it’s commercialized but still remains a beautiful place to go to… :)

Thanks for dropping by as always and best wishes to you too…

The person who took that picture is named Richie Bulda. I was actually beside him when he took that photo. He doesn’t mind his photo being shared by everyone, so don’t worry. I just wanted him to be recognized. :)
